Bead Bazaar Update

It's nearly here! Please, plan to SHOP 'TIL YOU DROP the weekend of November 7 and 8, at Montgomery Park in NW Portland. Of course, it IS PBS's premier event, but we think it's fair to say that it is also Portland's premier bead sales event! Expect fabulous merchandise, both from our favorite returning member vendors and from a few new ones this year, too!

We will again have our beloved butternut squash soup from Bridges Catering and we'll feature talented members demonstrating in-demand techniques and tricks. This year we ask you to BRING A FRIEND to shop with you on Saturday. Then come back again on Sunday with TWO FRIENDS! Seriously (crowds are a little thinner on Sunday). Think of how impressed your friends will be as you point out all the best treasures and then offer to help them get started on their own bead creations.

We're a volunteer organization and cannot offer this show without help from our members who volunteer (thank you in advance for working those shifts!), from our volunteer Bazaar Committee (see below), and from our member vendors. REMEMBER, THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF OUR MEMBER VENDORS – 10% commission on their sales – funds our activities year round. Truly, our vendors allow PBS to present nationally recognized speakers, to offer grants, make donations to museums, and subsidize members taking beading classes. Thank you vendors, for making this possible!
