Karman will be teaching from 10:30 to 4
The project is appropriate for beaders with some experience. Newbies are also welcome although they probably won't get much done. It isn't a particularly hard project except the clasp. Double Medallion Bracelet is made of a double row of chevron petals that contain a nail head or swarovski flat crystal. These are united by peyote. The clasp is a beaded toggle!

Description:
Loomwork provides excellent design opportunities and construction options. You can easily make bracelets, wall hangings, and more. Learn all about designing, weaving and finishing techniques in this workshop. Then we'll take you a step further to incorporate strung work, different sizes of beads, stepping off the edges and surface embellishment and off-loom trechniques. We'll delve into some of those intriguing techniques shown in Japanese loomwork books and we'll even show you how to construct your own looms. Students can expect to make samples of all the techniques, begin a large project (like a necklace) or complete a small project (like a bracelet or purse).

Technique: Fringe, Ndbele Herringbone weave, right angle weave
Description:
Students will use right angle weave, fringes and herringbone to create this slinky bracelet. The technique can also be used to creat a necklace. Learn subtle ways of color blending at the same time.
