Bonnie has a long and varied history in the arts. She worked many years as a studio potter and then as a production potter in a mug factory. Years later she became an actor doing commercials, a few films, and a European tour with a stage show.

Four years ago Bonnie began designing and painting stencils which led to an interest in color and form which led to a flirtation with watercolor. Bonnie's stencil work has been featured in Dog Fancy magazine. Her watercolors have won awards.

Bonnie's current passion is polymer clay. What an interesting medium. Color to die for. Endless design possibilities. Requires little space. And all in 3D. Her polymer clay work is featured in a new book “Polymer Clay;Creating Functional And Decorative Vessels” by J. Gikow It will be included in “Celebrations in Polymer Clay” by Sarajane Helm due out in 2003 A lamp of hers was in “Explorations In Polymer Clay” at The Artisans' Center Of Virginia. Bonnie's polymer work is included in a slide show presented by the National Polymer Clay Guild. Her work is in private collections internationally and in galleries.
