Judy is originally from Minneapolis where she majored in theatre. She also studied in San Francisco and Boulder, then Portland. She became involved in the bead community thanks to Geraldine Cox. Judy saw the work at a flea market and was inspired to try it for herself. Judy took three years of lampwork classes at Let it Bead. She is a successful bead maker and jewelry designer, selling her work on eBay and on her own website. Judy's favorite techniques are beadweaving and lampwork. Her display included her lampworked beads and various seed bead work.
