Kelly Ford makes jewelry, polymer and designs beaded clothing. She is a professional dressmaker. Her beaded clothing uses beads for both adornment and function, to weight the fabric down. Beads are washable and dry cleanable; she gave a rundown of what works best.

Kelly likes to make jewelry in her spare time, including the double Viking knitted chain, which can only be made by hand. It takes about an hour to knit an inch, so they are expensive to buy. She began working in polymer when she needed special buttons. She is starting to work with PMC, Precious Metal Clay, which will enable her to return to lost wax-style jewelry making she loved when she was in high school.
